SymptomPause is built and run by one person, and I read every message myself. There's no support ticket system, no bot, no "your request has been queued". You email, I reply.
Write to me if
Something isn't working — a search slipped through, a block that shouldn't be there, anything broken.
The extension blocked something it shouldn't have. Tell me the search and I'll fix the matching for everyone.
You have an idea for a trigger word, a site to block, or a feature that would help you.
You're not sure if SymptomPause is right for you and want an honest answer.
It helped. Those emails keep this project going more than you'd think.
One thing I can't do: tell you whether a symptom is serious. I'm not a doctor, and SymptomPause never gives medical advice. If a symptom is new, severe, or worrying you, contact your GP or call NHS 111 (UK). They would genuinely rather hear from you than have you search alone.
If you're really struggling right now
Health anxiety can get heavy. If you're in crisis, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number. If you need someone to talk to, the Samaritans are on 116 123, free, any hour of any day. Reaching out is the strong move.
